(September 8, 2011):

The Great Commandment and The Great Commission are the two things that Jesus Christ told us to obey. All of what is perceived as religion could be summed up in these two things. We are to love God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength. Then, we are to love our neighbors has ourselves. If we obey these, we will live full lives!

When we obey the Great Commandment, we then hear the call of the Great Commission. Go into all the nations and make disciples, baptize them, teach them the ways of Jesus. This is what you do if you love God and love others.

This month, we at Great Commission Ministries are traveling to Fort Myers, FL, to meet with an Indian Pastor named Babu C. John. Pastor Babu is a personal friend of mine that I have known since 1999. Babu has an Indian mission in Fort Myers and also has 3 orphanages in India. I am going to see how Great Commission Ministries and Babu can work together!
